The most outstanding example of an industrial film ever conceived, the film documents Westinghouse’s mid-1960s line by using live-action and still images selected from the company’s archives, annual reports, magazines, and other sources. Showing products in alphabetical order by corporate inventory name, ranging from small household appliances made for the retail market, to enormous generators and turbines made for industrial use. The multitude of products is presented in quick succession, accompanied by a choral group singing the name of each item as it is shown. Libretto by Victor Arzate, music composed by Elmer Bernstein.
