The Good Years

DATE - 1962

The Good Years is the collective title given to three short film sequences made for a CBS television special produced by Leland Hayward. Shown in 1962, the special presentation dealt with three historical events that occurred just after the beginning of the twentieth-century. The idea and title for the show were taken from the book The Good Years – From 1900 to the First World War, by Walter Lord. Of the three segments, only Meet Me in St. Louis is in general circulation.
