Based on the characters by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Sherlock Holmes uses his master of two-valued logic to solve a baffling problem. The second of two film records of animatronic puppet shows presented at the New York World’s Fair of 1964-65, the film uses the characters of Holmes and Watson to demonstrate an important aspect in computer programming.
