Polavision Vignettes: Macbeth

DATE - 1977

Polavision was produced for the Polaroid Corporation to demonstrate the features of their new instant-movie camera system – Polavision. The film begins with an introduction to the system, and continues with examples that demonstrate some of the ways the instant-movie camera could be employed by amateur photographers shooting scenes from every day life. Polavision is made up of six vignettes, each the two-and-a-half minute length of the system’s film cassettes. Made up of both live-action photography and film shot from stills and slides, the films were shot in the Eames Office and on location. Narrated by Andrew Duggan, music by Elmer Bernstein.
