Live-to-Picture Concert Featuring Eames Film

May 3 and 4, 2019: Hear a live performance of Elmer Bernstein’s musical score for Toccata for Toy Trains while watching the classic 1957 Eames film.

Silent Films Live 2 is a live-to-picture benefit concert with proceeds going to Education Through Music-Los Angeles.

One bonus to this exciting event, which highlights new scores written to classic silent films, is a live-to-picture performance of Elmer Bernstein’s score for the classic 1957 Eames film, Toccata for Trains, with new orchestration by Emilie Bernstein.

Charles and Ray Eames created over 125 short films. Check out a selection of them before attending this event.

Silent Films Live 2, hosted by Robert Townson, features the USC Trojan Chamber Orchestra, conductor Angel Velez, and composers Nathan Barr, Sean Callery, Fil Eisler, Blake Neely, William Ross, Arturo Sandoval, and Lisbeth Scott.
