In celebration of The World of Charles and Ray Eames and its three-year international tour, share #YourEamesStory for the chance to win classic Eames designs and have your story published on the Eames Office and Oakland Museum of California (OMCA) websites. See details below.
How does it work?
1) Tell us how Charles and Ray have impacted your life. Tips: Read examples of Your Eames Stories featured on our website. Make your story personal. Take us on the journey with you!
2) Accompanying images are encouraged but not required.
3) Email your entry to YourEamesStory@eamesoffice.com with the subject line: Your Eames Story 2019 Contest.
4) Submissions must be received by 11:59 pm PST on January 21, 2019.
The Eames Office and OMCA will jointly select one winner, who will be awarded an Eames Molded Plastic Armchair with Rocker Base (RAR) in white, and a runner-up, who will win an Eames Hang-It-All with choice of color. Both stories will be featured on our respective websites and shared on our social platforms.
