Claes Oldenburg & Coosje Van Bruggen’s Eames Chair Posted April 30, 2005 by Daniel Ostroff

The April 2005 issue of ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST features world renowned artists,

Coosje Van Bruggen and Claes Oldenburg
at their Loire Valley estate which has a name as elegant as its buildings and grounds:
CHATEAU DE LA BORDE

We celebrate these wonderful sculptors on our pages because in their studio,

where they dream and draw their art, they use an EAMES ALUMINUM GROUP CHAIR.
This Eames Aluminum Group chair was manufactured by long time Eames Office international partner VITRA. www.vitra.com
Here are two of the many wonderful
Claes Oldenburg & Coosje Van Bruggen outdoor sculptures.
Like Charles and Ray Eames, this talented duo sometimes worked in FIBER-REINFORCED PLASTIC

And, some times, like Charles and Ray Eames, Claes and Coosje worked in ALUMINUM.
