Charles and Ray created two IBM Fair Presentation films. The first features the Eames Offices’s preliminary design proposals for the IBM pavilion at the 1964 New York World’s Fair.
The film incorporates photography and animation to present the concepts, architecture, and overall look of the pavilion and to convey an impression of the exposition’s spirit and content.
The Eames Office made this version of the film expressly to introduce the project to IBM’s senior executives. One year later, the Office made IBM Fair Presentation #2. Learn more about it by clicking here.
