The World of Charles and Ray Eames Travels to the U.S.

May 5 – September 3, 2018: After crossing the Atlantic, The World of Charles and Ray Eames has reached the U.S. and will premiere at The Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan.


The World of Charles and Ray Eames
makes its U.S. premiere at The Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan, after its three-year-long tour across Europe, including: the Barbican Museum in London, England; the Bildmuseet in Umeå, Sweden; MAAT in Lisbon, Portugal; C-Mine in Genk, Belgium; and Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein, Germany.

The critically-acclaimed exhibition about the life and work of Charles and Ray Eames opens to the public on May 5, 2018. It features the husband-and-wife team’s most enduring and influential works in architecture, furniture, films, graphic design, painting, sculpture, photography, multimedia, and more. Explore Charles and Ray’s approach to life and work, and discover how you can apply it to your own endeavors. This in-depth investigation into the ideas and creations of two of the 20th century’s most famous designers will not disappoint.
