March 9 – September 17, 2017: Explore works by Charles and Ray Eames and other artists in the exhibition Popcorn: Art, Design and Cinema at Musée d’Art Moderne Contemporain in Saint-Étienne, France.
In celebration of the 10th International Design Biennial of Saint Etienne, Popcorn presents a wide variety of works and explores the connections between art, design, and cinema. The show includes the three-screen slide show, Movie Sets, as well as other images by Charles and Ray Eames from their time photographing film sets by renowned director Billy Wilder.
Popcorn also presents works by Etienne Jules Marey, Eadweard Muybridge, Lilian and Frank Gilbreth, Norman Bel Geddes, Jasper Morrison, and Noam Toran, to name a few.
