July 15 – November 12, 2017: Light, strong, and versatile, molded plywood changed the modern world as we know it. Learn more in the V&A’s new exhibition in London.

This exhibition explores the many ways in which molded plywood made the modern world. The show highlights groundbreaking works by Charles and Ray Eames, Alvar Aalto, and Marcel Breuer. It also features planes, skateboards, and a wide array of other objects made from this surprisingly versatile and often-overlooked material.
