February 11, 2016: Based on Powers of Ten by Charles and Ray Eames, this performance in Mexico City by Andrés Jaque / Office for Political Innovation looks at the Eames film through a new lens.
Superpowers of Ten is a public performance by Andrés Jaque / Office for Political Innovation. The work is based on the narrative and ideas at the heart of Powers of Ten, the 1977 Eames film that explores the relative size of things in the universe.
Running from March 4-7, the performance takes place within the framework of MEXTRÓPOLI 2016, the International Festival of Architecture and City held in the Public Square of Museo Jumex. Superpowers of Ten was first presented at the Lisbon Architecture Triennial (2013), and later at the Chicago Architecture Biennale (2015).
