Guest Lecture: Eames Demetrios at the Bechtler

April 21, 2016 – In conjunction with its exhibition The House That Modernism Built, join the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art for a talk with Eames Demetrios, Eames Office Director, on the life and work of his grandparents, Charles and Ray Eames.

Join the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art for at talk with Eames Demetrios as its Distinguished Guest Lecturer. Best known in the design world for his work as director of the Eames Office, his role is instrumental in extending the work of mid-20th century designers Charles and Ray Eames to new generations of enthusiasts. Eames Demetrios is also an accomplished artist, writer, and filmmaker and has spoken throughout the United States and internationally.

Modernist Society and Ambassador Society members will be invited to a seated dinner at the museum following the lecture.
