Eames and Hollywood reveals one of the lesser-known aspects of Charles and Ray’s work: their photographs. In a new exhibition at Art & Design Atomium Museum in Brussels, Belgium, a series of 233 images by the design duo titled Movie-Sets immortalizes life behind the scenes of Billy Wilder’s Hollywood film sets. The work captures the making of a variety of films from The Seven Year Itch to Some Like It Hot, as well as Hollywood darlings such as Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis, Kirk Douglas, William Holden, and more.
